I have never left a negative review before, but this time I am truly very dissatisfied. The service felt rushed and careless. The exfoliating scrub and foot brushing took less than a minute, which I was willing to overlook, and I was still happy to leave a good tip. However, when I got home and saw my nail polish, it looked terrible and uneven, which made me really upset. I stayed in the area and was in desperate need of a manicure, so I found this salon. I called about 10 minutes before arriving and they were able to take me before closing. I had a fantastic gel manicure! My technician was gentle, quick but not rushed, and made sure multiple times I was happy with the shape and color. Definitely will be back when I’m in the neighborhood next!
CAUTION: The staff was very rude and completely rushed through my manicure, so my nails were painted unevenly with a lot of spillovers like many of the other reviewers. They also pressed for extra services and hidden fees despite me saying “no”. You MUST ask for the cost beforehand or they will inflate it. Many of the nail polish looks old with the pigments separated. I rarely leave negative reviews but I truly hope this business can improve in the future.
This took me forever to write because I could not remember the name of the nail salon for the life of me, but I just want to say that this was THE BEST nail salon experience I have had in all of New York City. First I want to say that I had no appointment and was in a rush to get my nails done, and the entire team was so accommodating and hospitable. I ’ve been to this place once before and had a great experience. I went again today and had a new woman, and am very disappointed by the service and result. First, I asked for a rounded square shape, maybe not the correct term but she then gave me pointy tips like claws, which wasn’t an easy shape to turn back into square, so now now it looks weird and overall uneven.
