Ray is insightful, direct and supportive in all the right ways. He does an incredible job at really listening and in the moment addressing the core issue. I am not a fan of discussions where one asks “how does that make you feel” and so I appreciated Ray’s patience with my triggers and his openness to approaching the conversations in various ways. My husband and I gained a lot from the journey and we’ll forever be thankful for Ray’s service.
Ray was a "last resort." When we first spoke with him, I expected to be filing for divorce within the year. We'd already seen two other marriage therapists and had a volatile relationship that was getting worse after a betrayal of trust. After several other attempts at counselling over the years his unique methods offered us the peace, love and stability we had not experienced since our marriage was new (and thought may have been gone for good). He cares for and works with each partner as needed, with no preference for or bias against either. Wife and I thought we might be headed toward divorce. Neither of us wanted that, but both of us felt like we were at an impasse. Then we found Ray. Literally, the very day we had our first session, he gave me some good advice which I took and it made a difference for sometime.
