I got my hair braided here and it was supposed to be a very simple style: just two braids. Unfortunately, it turned into a horrible experience. She had to keep rebraiding the same sections over and over, and she was extremely rough the entire time. Even after I specifically asked her not to, she continued yanking my very natural hair with a small-tooth comb, which was painful and unnecessary. Service did not start on time, and braids are entirely toooo tight!!!!! Bumps are beginning to form from the tightness. I prefer hair braiders that care about the integrity of the hair. I have been literally dousing my scalp with castor and rosemary oil wishing and hoping I don’t develop traction alopecia! First & LAST time patronizing this business. If you don’t care about your overall hair and scalp health then this is the place for you.
I gave 4 stars because they started an hour late! However, they did a wonderful job on my daughter's hair.The atmosphere was nice with gospel music playing and I enjoyed hearing them speak french and their other native languages.
