When both our sump pump and backup pump quit in the early evening and water started creeping up through the basement drain in Mt Vernon, samuel called us back right away and said Brett & Sons Plumbing & Air Llc could come the next morning. I’ve used this plumbing company three times, and every service call has been excellent. On the most recent visit, I had a leaking backflow issue that was leaving my front yard wet and muddy. When I called, they said a plumber would arrive between 2 and 3 pm, but Erick showed up earlier than expected, which I really appreciated because it helped prevent more water waste and damage. I’m surprised that there aren’t many more bad reviews of this company. I only found one other review with an identical experience to mine. The actual plumbing was definitely sub-contracted since they asked me to send a separate Zelle to the plumber directly and then send a Zelle to them. During the initial calls to get the work started I talked to about four different people. I have no idea why I needed to be conferenced in with so many different people. Outstanding plumbing service. I called on a Sunday morning about a leaking hot water heater, and Samuel answered right away. He finished the job he was on and arrived at my home in Mt Vernon within a couple of hours. I already knew both water heaters would probably need replacement because they were old. Samuel explained the plumbing options clearly, was very professional and knowledgeable, and never pushed me into anything.
