Received a call today after I requested they contact my doctor and request a refill on a medication I will need to take for the rest of my life. The doctors office said the Doctor wanted to see me every 3 months or else he would not fill any medications. This is outrageous! There absolutely no reason the doctor needs to see me every three months. I’m not dying! sounds like they just wanna get money to me. I will unfortunately need to find another doctor. This is upsetting…
I was at my pulmonary specialist Wendy shaftmaster's appointment and Dr. Dhakal was spending the day following her around that day. We begin talking how about how my family doctor had left the business so I'm without one, so he asked me if I ever heard of The residency clinic? I had always had a pleasant experience here since I transfered from his office when he left town and like the fact that I can see multiple resident doctors if needed. I have had multiple issues with my lyrica medication, that I have been on for years with Dr Javier, when it comes time to refill. Last few times in a row I had to miss days because it was sent to the pharmacy by a doctor not authorized with medicaid. Doctor Afifi has been the most amazing Doctor I've ever had in my lifetime. I have Lupus and have alot of problems that pop up almost unexplainable because my immune system can attack whatever. Doctor Afifi has been so patient with me and honest, she seemingly genuinely cares more than any other Doctor I've had . I could not be more happy with the care I've gotten so far from her.
