Dr. Reid and his amazing staff saved my horse, My Amigo, over 10 years ago, performing surgery for colic, and providing unforgettable after care during his recovery. Outstanding vets and vet assistants who are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They are the best in the state of Florida for reproductive medicine and CEM quarantine medicine. All of their veterinarians are well rounded and have seen it all. If you are looking for veterinarians who are knowledgeable and treat you with respect as a client I would highly recommend Reid & Associates!
Our horses have been patients of Reid and Associates for years now and we are so pleased with the expert service they always provide. We began relying on their practice when Dr. Reid saved one of our horses who was very near death with a sand obstruction without surgery. Since then, Dr. Newkirk, who we call our "baby maker," has gotten every one of our mares in foal via artificial insemination and has been there for all our horses from everything from routine inoculations to life saving diagnoses. I have used Dr. Reid for more than 36 years! I have always had the most professional care and advice one can ever ask for! When Dr Reid and Associates became a full-service equine hospital 1995, was a wonderful day for horses and owners! All the Doctors has their specialties! I have only been 100% satisfied from colic surgery , reproductive work, foals, lameness work and much more!!! Right now l have a colic horse in the hospital and she is getting the best of care!
