On September 14th I woke up to a water leak in my bedroom ceiling. REI sent someone over in the afternoon to check it out. He cut a hole in the sheetrock in the ceiling and had to pull a lot of the insulation out of the ceiling because it was saturated with water. One of the gutters on the outside of the building had broken and that was why it was leaking into my bedroom. The guy said that someone from the association would be in contact with me about fixing the hole in my ceiling. As of today, November 6th, it has still not... read more

REI Property Management is very professional and answers all my questions and concerns. I’ll understand that they are just managing according to our Association Rules and regulations. I'm very pleased with them.

This is the 2nd floor of Brookfield Office Park at 304 Federal Rd. Not very client or patient pleasing to look at especially if you rent or own an office in this building. It smells and I believe possibly mold! Whatever the reason that this has gone overlooked for so long please know that as the property manager this falls on you to fix!

Terrible company. I've owned and managed my own properties for 12 years so I'm aware of proper practice. We had a water leak from the deck above. Called Rei. The moisture meter reading is necessary to start the process..OK. REI would not schedule the reading right away. We had to call several times, and were told...O it's drying up?... maybe not an issue anymore. We're in the middle of a pandemic. We have a vulnerable infant in the house with respiatory issues.. We were promised a sealed environment, fast turn around. They l... read more

Business response:

The complaint does not mention the community they live in. We manage over 120 communities. If I can learn what community this is in reference to, I can then speak to the management team that is assigned to the account. Thank you.

Ben is very very rude to the older women at ****** ******* Condos. He needs a course in manners and sensitivity training, even if his father owns the company as he has told people. I recommended REI because a friend of mine in *******was happy with their management services but I am sorry I did. Several of us at *** *ould like another account services rep. How do we get Ben replaced? *** ******* ****** *** ********* ********

they are nasty, their workers have nasty attitudes and money hungry to give you fines, I let them know about a condom that was on the parking lot and they let it sit there for almost a month straight before picking it up the worst of the worst

This is the only real estate management company that charges prospective buyers 125 dollars to find out if a condo board and HOA are suitable for prevailing competitive bank rate financing. Ben was very rude and when I asked who the owner was, he said "my father". I hope daddy is proud of his rude son. It's good to know that in the event I want any info on any condo finances they manage, I can just pay them the money and have fun. In my opinion, it reminds me of *************

Business response:

Connecticut State Statutes, that govern all community associations, set the amount that associations charge for Resale Certificates. That amount is $125. In addition, this fee is part of the management agreement between REI and our clients.
