The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help you find the right gear. The store is well-organized and has a clean, inviting layout. I also love their return policy and member benefits. Perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts!

We became REI members because of the promise of “100% satisfaction” and the flexible return policy that so many customers rave about especially regarding used gear like climbing shoes. I purchased a pair that unfortunately turned out to be disappointing in quality. After fewer than 10 uses over less than two months, I attempted to return them. Less than pleasant interaction with the associate in the shoe section. Clearly, customer service is not her thing.

I bought a bike from REI and it turned out to be a terrible experience. From the beginning, it had issues — the gears would shift on their own while riding. We took it in to get it checked, and they said they would fix it, but clearly, they didn’t because the problem continued. We went back a second time for the same issue, and still, nothing was resolved. Eventually, we decided to return it because it was just a poor-quality bike. I recommend going with something more reliable — this store really let us down.
