great customer service I went to the REI store a few weeks go to buy a bike and the customer service was incredible. I had a lot of "novice" questions because I have not rode a bike in years and they were very helpful. I would defiently go back there to purchase more sporting goods equiptment.
Convenient The most positive aspect of this REI location is that it is convenient. I love ordering items on-line, then having them delivered to the Tukwila store, NO Shipping charges and No waiting in line. Very Cool. PROS: Good parking, Great store front CONS: none
Helpful, Friendly Staff I like going to the Tukwila REI because of how friendly the employees are. They also have a nice selection of clothing and out door gear available. They are easy to get to as the store is located very close to Southcenter Mall. The map section is usually fully stocked and they have a great selection of books to choose from.
REI Incorporated This is a store that has everything you need for your sporting event. It also has great items for travel, so that you can be prepared for everything. The employees are very helpful, and listen as you try to explain what you need.
Helpful staff, good clearance prices The staff here are experienced in every sport they help supply. For example, I overheard one staff member explaining how important arch support for your feet were in snowboarding to a customer. The prices might seem steep, but are on par with other stores that carry those brand names. The clearance items have big markdowns, so those are worth browsing through.
Small store but nice Cool place to find 4x4ing and hiking maps! The prices are ok on some things but pricey on others. This store is a lot smaller than the Seattle store.
Outdoor lover's dream store I love REI. You can find just about anything outdoor-related there. We've bought tents and sleeping bags there, as well as other outdoor equipment. However, more recently I've shopped there for clothing and shoes. All the merchandise is high quality, but also can be a little on the pricey side. PROS: great selection, good quality gear CONS: a little pricey
best selection of outdoor gear Other stores exist, but REI is the biggest and best when it comes to outdoor gear. Big selection of items, from tents to backpacks to bikes to outdoor shoes, etc. We are regular customers and look forward to our annual dividend (a member benefit)
