Terrible customer service experience with Maya. She really needs an attitude adjustment. The staff are usually really nice, but Maya is passive aggressive and clueless about outdoor gear. I assume she’s a new hire as I’ve never seen her before. The customer service experience was so bad I left the shop immediately instead of spending any money. Visited REI today to help a friend prep for a backpacking trip. The store associate, Thomas, was excellent. He was very helpful with selecting a new backpack and was incredibly patient throughout the process. My friend found the perfect pack!
Terrific employees here! Ms. Katherine was very knowledgeable and helped me choose a great winter layer, and Ms. Lisa at the counter was so friendly! They made my day.
REI, as always, has a terrific and enthusiastic staff. That's their greatest asset. This store is on the small side for an REI, but filled with very cool, ,albeit expensive stuff.
