Went to REI to get some running shoes, I was helped by I believe Megan. Who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Megan assisted me in finding the hoka arahis and I’m extremely satisfied with them. Thank you for your help.
Feel like REI used to be known for its customer service, maybe just not at 3:30 on a Thursday. First 3 REI folks I walked passed were just leaned over counters scrolling on their phones, none offering to help until I walked up and asked. The guy checking me out even stopped helping me to walkie someone about skis coming in, and when that person didn’t respond I thought he was gonna walk away from me to help that guy, quite rude.
$180 walking sticks. $210 for $40 worth of rope. But they still can't afford to hire somebody to answer a simple question. And that $599 tent is $350 direct from the manufacturer.... Who shops here!?!?!
