I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding an uncomfortable and distressing experience I had at your REI Manhattan Beach location (1800 Rosecrans Ave, Building B) on Friday, July 19, 2025, at approximately 6:00 PM. Bike shop has really gone downhill. Been bringing my bikes to REI for 15 years and these last couple times I’ve brought it in the service has been slow and the people working there. Don’t really seem to know what bikes they’re looking at this last time was the last time I will be bringing my bike into REI as it was a simple brake adjustment and chain replacement Had my bike over two weeks and they ordered the wrong chain. Called the bike shop and they said I have to return the chain and order the correct one myself……
