We had a very bad and humiliating customer service experience with 'Marcello' at the time of pick-up at REI Vernon Hills store 180. Other customers were also complaining about him. He wasn't able to manage customers in line, was rude, and short-tempered.
I love this store and their products. The only thing I think they need to step up is their customer service. I feel that some people are not that friendly. This being said, nobody has been rude either.
I don't have too many in-person retail experiences any more - but this REI always delights. They actually have plenty of people working there who seem to want to help you and make your day easier.
