… man where do I start. Bought a new bike not to long ago off market place. Did most of the work myself as far as bolt checks and tuneup. (I’m pretty mechanically inclined being an auto tech for 5 years) anyways there were 2 slight issues I brought my bike in for. The first issue being that the front tire was installed backwards. This is a nice store with a lot of nice things for outdoor adventuring and recreation. The vast majority of it is out of my comfortable spending range, but I find a couple sale priced shirts to buy. I was told by the staff that, as a non-member, I have 90 days to decide whether I'm satisfied and return items I'm not happy with, so that's nice. The store was hard to find with Google Maps. Nice to have a rei nearby
First time at an REI because we needed some hiking gear and an America the Beautiful pass. The store appeared clean, but lacked some inventory in the shoe department. That was disappointing to me. I felt our experience really went downhill at checkout. The cashier seemed disorganized and confused. She rang up one of our purchases at full price when it was supposed to be 40%.
