RecommendedJust took a look at the valve train after running my R-M 540 since 2006. 550 plus passes. It is spotless inside. All valve springs still have 260 psi on the seat. The roller lifters were fine but I replaced them anyway. Installed new pushrods and roller rockers as well. Torqued heads and new gaskets for intake and exhaust. Have won many times with this excellent RACING engine! Buy one! You will be surprised at the easy power.
