A very special thank you today to our Veterans and their families. We would like to share some information that reminds us what this holiday represents.

How cool are these magnetic laces? Great for those with arthritis or limited hand dexterity. Great for creating more independence for special needs kids. Lots of color options. https://www.amazon.com/…/B0…/july19handy2-desk-20/ref=nosim/

Camp No Limits in Maryland brings together children with limb loss or limb difference and their families, adult amputee mentors and volunteers to create an awesome, adventure filled weekend. Our own Joan Cestaro, Certified Prosthetist, attended this year's camp. "I volunteered thinking I could help out if someone broke their prosthesis or had prosthetic questions, but what I received in return from these kids and their families was absolutely priceless. I can't wait to go back next year!"

Is your gel liner too old? When liners become less sticky, the prosthesis isn’t suspended well & this can lead to skin breakdown and less control of the prosthesis. The gel is a delicate material that breaks down over time, even with good cleaning. The liners then begin to smell. RPI recommends replacement every 6 months.

A perfect crown for this beautiful little princess. I just love the little ponytail of hair rising from the top.
