Had my hair styled with a flat iron. This took about 10 min. as my hair was freshly washed and dried at home. I have very fine, medium length hair. I was charged an astonishing $25! I then had to re-curl when I got home. The receipt even showed shampoo and style. When I questioned the stylist, she said yes that is what we charge whether you get a shampoo and dry. I would not recommend this place.
Mall hair salons are breeding grounds for incompetent cosmetology rejects. I knew better than to get my hair cut at one; however, I’m new to Asheville so I decided to give the mall one last chance. Worst place I have ever gone to. I just moved to the area and went in for a foil frosting and cut. What a nightmare. When I got home had to bleach my hair out it was such a mess. While I was there another stylist next to me was foiling someone's hair and seemed to be doing a great job. I didn't see the completed product as I was finished up before she was done. Best Stylist I have seen! Jennipher has been is a fantastic stylist. I have been seeing her for the past 3 years. I always get compliments from folks while I am out. I highly recommend her. She is the bomb. I even have my husband going to see her.
Worst haircut ever... never go to crystal. Absolutely butchered my hair. She does not listen or pay attention. Waste of time and money!! I will be paying for her unprofessional haircut for a long time!!!

Went in and requested best colorist because I wanted to touch up the dark brown I came in with and balayage some blonde into some of the ends and a slight trim. I showed the colorist the picture of what I wanted and she pawned me off to someone else. When all was said and done my base color is a medium brown, the middle of my hair was the dark brown I went in with with orange highlights and bright orange fried ends. Don't go here for a perm! This lady said she's done hundreds of perms--but I asked for a medium spiral & she gave me a small spiral that actually looked more like a kinked-wave. The tips weren't even curly at all. I'd never had my hair permed before so I thought it would look better when it was dry--it was actually worse! 3 days later & you can't even tell that I got a perm & I haven't even washed my hair yet because she told me to wait 3 days.
