I was in need of help, and not only did they figure out a way to get me in but the way they approached me was beyond incredible. I felt heard and was able to receive the help I needed
Poor quality of care if your case is complicated. I explained I have P.O.T.S. which means anything that effects blood pressure can cause fast heartrate (tachycardia) for me. Psych provider talked to me like I was stupid & didn't believe me. She insisted I was having anxiety when I had just explained a medical reason for the fast heartrate. I'm fine with being challenged and corrected if I'm wrong, but I wasn't wrong. Now I'm working with other doctors trying to figure out a solution. Other doctors have taken me seriously. Had an appointment for one of my kids at 10:30. They told us to arrive at 10 to do paperwork. We walked in at 9:50 and started doing paperwork and at 10:03 we took it to the front desk and was told we was to late and would have to reschedule. Needless to say we will not return and will find someone else to see.
Two of my children have been seeing Ana Cerrato-Young for over a year, and I’m about to have my third see her as well. My children all have ADHD and autism. Ana has been hands down amazing. I cannot give her enough stars. She looks at all ways to help and give support, not just medication wise. She listens to all concerns, and truly does her best to do what’s in the best interest of her patients. Highly recommend to anyone needing medication assistance for their mental health.
I'm having a really hard time with my bipolar, I haven't stopped crying in days. My kids both had appointments today so I tried to see if I could be seen and was told no, even while I was crying on the phone begging for someone to help me. When we went to my kids appoinemts I was having a hard time keeping myself together. I was finally able to speak up about my concerns with my daughter and the Dr yelled at me regardless of the fact I was already in tears. Guess there is no help there when you need it most.
