Do not go here for Maternal Fetal Medicine if you are HIGH RISK!!! You might as well die in your own terms then go here for care. They do not listen to you at all, they automatically schedule your appointments without your consent, they do not give you any consideration that you may know about your own body. I can’t believe this is the oldest hospital in Memphis. If you get pregnant in the mid south you might as well move if you want you and your baby to survive.
This is a clear sign that Memphis is in trouble. Having lived here my entire life, I’ve witnessed plenty of difficult and frustrating situations. But never before have I encountered a doctor who acted so unprofessionally simply because she wasn’t able to manipulate the truth. If the state is paying for your insurance or you have insurance through your job; do not come here. Went to see the OBGYN and it took a month to get test results!! Lied and told me that certain test they can get back the same day. Charge your insurance lots of money for labs. If you are getting your annual well care and pap or even STD testing,do not come here. Planned parenthood gets results in one week.
