Terrible. They made me a prisoner and never had a personal conversation. They had meetings called “Group”. You could attend or not. Took away my phone. Put me in a room with a crazy woman who tried. To smash out a window to get her truck and go home to her husband. She had to be held down. She didn’t have a truck or husband. I kept my curtain closed for three days.
My daughter had a worker come into the hospital room for a whopping 10 minutes- we used none of the services they offered and we received a bill of $2800…. Seems like a scam!
Today, Region Ten Crisis Unit was the only one to help me. They picked me up and brought me in to see a nurse and doctor. Then, set me up for more help next week! Really a wonderful experience during a crisis for me. It’s hard to be positive when abuse is happening, but today Region Ten spent hours deescalating and managing my crisis issues well. Went for therapy sessions to help overcome childhood trauma just for the male "therapist" to tell me that I'm no better than those who abused me and that I deserved to be treated that way because I had children before I seeked help. I truly hope he's having the life he deserves.
I have been left without adequate service through their mhss team repeatedly, even after I had serious surgery with a femoral artery bypass and could barely walk, and numerous times I went for months without a worker despite my insurance being billed. I know they have heavy caseloads but it's been ridiculous since COVID and I am not going to continue to get inadequate, or even worse, a complete lack of services altogether any longer.
