The wait time Regina Urgent care centre was crazy though the nurses are super good and understanding.
Alright I am upset, and see tremendous value in this concept, diverting semi- urgent care from hospitals. That being said, I want people to go there knowing few things, prepare to spend your entire day if you need care. I was there almost 6 hrs without even an assigned dr, still waiting to see one. My triage level showed 3. I decided to leave and regretted the decision to go there. Went to walk in straight and saw a dr in 30 minutes. I need an xray and I’ll do it on Monday. Check in and triage took an hour but once in the care was incredible. Big shout out to Kate B! I hate getting blood work done 🩸 she litterally gave the most painless needle I have ever had
I was told by health line to get looked at within 4 hours for loss of hearing, I came to urgent care at 11 am and am still sitting here, it’s almost 5:30 pm. I guess loss of hearing isn’t a priority for them and I guess they aren't on the same page advice wise. There are 3 doctors working and well over 50 staff, somethings wrong. Small clinic feel with an ER wait time. Love how we have all these staff getting union wage to stretch an hr long job into a full day. We need reform in the whole structure, need accountability as to why simple injuries turn into 10 hr wait times, id rather pay for COMPETENCE and URGENCY, than be over taxed to pay for 'free care' that takes until it heals to be addressed. Free healthcare is GARBAGE.
