I have been a patient at the Mid Atlantic Retina Center at Wills Eye at 8th & Walnut for the past couple years. Naturally, when I first went there I was nervous because I had a retina problem. It turned out that it is common and I continue going for my check ups to keep things in check. Well, besides the doctors being excellent, the team at this location is also excellent! First visit, this office works like a well oiled machine. Friendly, personable, efficient. I was told to expect to be there for two hours. Out of there in one.

I am a 65 year old attorney and have never been treated so rudely and callously by office staff. They spent one and a half hours verifying my secondary insurance and didn't tell me anything until I approached them after waiting one hour. They would not let me see the doctor until insurance verified. They had this information for one month before the appointment. It is indeed a shame that a reputable hospital like Wills Eye is lending its name to this callous and insensitive multi-state corporation. Stay away at all cost... read more

I love Dr Kaiser but the office staff is beyond rude. I called about a problem but missed the call. I called right back and was told the tech had gone for the day. I missed another call today and got a pissy message that they had tried to call me 2 times and I had never called back. I love IPhones since all the documentation is there. It took me 3 minutes to call back. Really? I hope they 'get it' that older patients need to be treated with a little more respect. It's my money I will spend it where I am treated bette... read more
