Shelby LaFay started off great then quit contacting me! He would rush to get me off the phone IF he answered when I called, never called me back after 2 weeks of me TRYING to reach him and getting nowhere! I would give him a - if it was available!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM!
My Fiancé and I were ready to buy a house, we were being assisted by Shelby Lafay.. it started off good.. said we needed to pay down a couple of our credit cards and he'll get back with us.. our over-all experience with Shelby was poor.. we were told he got our updated info and he was gonna get back with us the next day.. its been a month from his promised next day and nothing.. since he did a hard pull and we trusted him our window to use another mortgage agency closed without hurtingour credit. he basically screwed us over... read more

I’ve left a bad review on ONE company before. Im generally a stress free and calm person. And It takes a lot to really make me upset. So, When I tell you I had an awful experience I mean it. That being said. Regent Financial in Wichita is an absolute nightmare to work with. They have run us and our buyers through the mud for THREE months. They lowered our buyers credit score by 40 points making her ineligible to buy a house and also told her it was okay to buy a car while in the process of buying a house.
