I toured Regency Woodland with my family. My grandfather was looking for assisted living. The ED was very professional. The facility is small, which is a plus; they also have activities. But it had dirty carpets. I am surprised that some facilities with elderly people still have carpets. The rooms seemed okay, although they smelled musty. The staff we saw seemed friendly. I saw a huge cart that looked dirty, and had some sort of seeds on the bottom of the cart, and was blocking a elderly persons door, that does not look safe... read more

As an employee of Regency Woodland and Regency Pacific, it gives me happiness to work with people who love their residents. From care staff to corporate level, I see it. I have worked everywhere throughout my 25 years in the industry. Very large corporations to individually owned, I am impressed with Regency. Last summer, I was in the hospital for 3 weeks and off for 10 total weeks recovering. Staff came to see me. The turn over rate is terrible, there’s SO many call outs and co workers not wanting to work. Nobody wants to work as a team. There was constant bullying and favoritism from managers/medtechs. Lack of compassion for residents. Most workers were not keeping it professional and would gossip with residents. Activity director Gayle is not creative at all with the activities & does not schedule rides on time for residents.
