So check-in was quick and fast! But when I asked if the ice machine WORKED on this 80°+ day --- the young Indian guy mumbled and stumbled and said, "If I hit it right, it'll work." NEVER A GOOD SIGN AT ANY ESTABLISHMENT! 🤷♂️ I get to the room and it is beautiful! But like check-in, things go downhill from there. The location was great, central to everything we needed to do. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room itself was ok. “Updated” but looked run down. The beds were also VERY uncomfortable. It felt like I was sleeping on the floor that’s how hard the mattress was. If you need a more comfortable bed I would suggest booking somewhere else or bring your own mattress topper. But other than that it was a good room for those on a budget.
You get what you pay for...place is ok and thats being generous. Id say a C- not a place to stay with your kids. Even had the pleasure of being woke up by our neighbors gettin it on at 5am. Good thing he was a two pump chump and we didn't have to hear them to long. Would not stay here again. Took the risk being close to my parents house should have took my parents advise and gone somewhere else.
If you're looking for a place near downtown Brea, this is it. However, you should know the rooms have the bare minimum appliances (not even a coffee maker), the building is old and not well-kept (a towel hanger fell off as soon as we hung one, the shower drain had bugs coming out of it, and the window blinds were broken). Yet, the staff was nice.
Room was clean and smelled nice. Noise level was minimal.
