Very understaffed, very slow to process claims. My significant other had a baby in October, doctor submitted all the claims by early December. We're still waiting for a approved or denied notice at the end of March. It's Utah law that they have 30 days to respond with a decision or give written notice that they need a 15 day extension due to circumstances out of their control--they've had almost 4 months and nothing, regardless of pestering. I don't want or need a nurse to call ne and ask how my recent medication is working. This is a Dr issue, and then another nurse called me in the past to come and check my heart.I think rates are higher because there are employees who seem to think they need to follow up with doctors. The more you spend, the more we pay. I get 3-4 envelopes a week that basically say nothing

I have to say that as a medigap plan G they have been awesome! so easy to work with. Can't comment on the marketplace plans for general public plans, but for medicare supplement its been very good.

Stay away!!!! I’ve been paying into Regence for insurance for over 33 yrs. They have raised their premiums every single year regardless of having zero claims. My deductible went from $250 to $3500 and premiums from $500 a year to $8000, meanwhile services dropped off and co-pays doubled. That was over the life of my policy. WELL just yesterday I received a letter like others in this country, in which Regence is doubling my deductible, cutting all out of network coverage, increasing my co-pays by 20 to 40% and more than doubl... read more
