If I could give 6 stars I would! Everything exceed our expectations! The location is spectacular on the intercoastal waterway. We had a 180 degree view from our porch in the Poseidon Suite. We rode the complimentary bikes into town for lunch. Our most favorite thing was the people we met. The receptionist Kim Shuey was the epitome of southern hospitality. She was a delight. And we met some fantastic people at the complimentary happy hour and breakfast. Can't wait to return!!
We had the most amazing stay and overall experience here! Kim & Anne were top-tier hosts and made us feel right at home. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special. Our room was sooo comfy, we could've stayed inside all day and still had a great time. The river view is stunning! We opted to drive to the beach since the walk was a bit much with our chairs and all our stuff, but the drive was super easy and parking was a breeze. My wife and I stayed here as part of celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Absolutely fantastic. Every morning we were greeted with a homemade breakfast casserole, all of which was delicious! The service was second to none. Ann and Kim were on site each day while we were there and provided outstanding customer service. We had a small issue with our shower and received a nice credit without even requesting one! I cannot praise this place enough! Would absolutely come here again!
Took the hubby here for a 40th bday getaway for 4 nights. I can’t say enough fabulous things about Regatta Inn. We loved the Poseidon Room. Beautiful view, spacious, private, and a good sized bath tub. The complimentary breakfasts are yummy and the hospitality is top notch. Free wine/beer/snacks. Free bikes to ride around Folly Beach and an easy drive into Charleston. I highly recommend staying here over staying in Charleston.
We stayed at The Regatta for a quick 1 year wedding anniversary weekend and it was such a relaxing time. It did rain heavily every day except our departure, but it was super cozy regardless. Lisa was so wonderful and made a delicious breakfast every morning and had a charcuterie board and snacks every afternoon. There are so many things this inn provides (bikes, cart rides, beach chairs/towels, etc) that you truly don't need to bring anything but your weekend bag.
