Morning Pointe of Richmond is a beautiful community with a wonderful, caring team that loves the residents like their own family. The care, love, and time the staff give is unlike any other. The warm, family, friendly welcome is noticed as soon as you get in the parking lot. The residents are eager to talk to visitors and immediately start telling how much they love living at Morning Pointe. The worst. Memory Care is sad for almost 7 grand a month. Smells, dirty in areas, people left in wet pants, little patio is dirty, old broken piano can't play, PC side gets lovely grand piano. Saltines and water I've seen as "their snack." No wonder many moving out. So many empty rooms. Director trying to drum up business giving herself 5 stars, ( doesn't tell you she's director, just 5 stars.) placing banners outand ONGOING ad for help. Traumatizing a patient and Deceptive actions: My mother stated to me that she was traumatized by a nurse at Morning Pointe by having several pills shoved down her throat all at one time. The Executive Director, Nikki Thelen, and the Regional VP, Debbi Hall, at their Louisville location refuse to discuss this with me and only want to cover this up. This probably happens to other patients also since they just outright refuse to address such issues with me.
