HORRIBLE! I went today to get my eyebrows done. I finally was able to grow them out after a long time. I tell the lady “Don’t do them thin And keep the hair on the side here because I want it thick like the other one NOT THIN.” WHAT DOES SHE DO!?!? She makes them both super thin!!!!! Not worth the money pedicure was poor. Not ever going back.
I honestly never thought I’d be leaving a glowing review for Regal Nails (910 Wolcott, Waterbury) — the reviews scared me at first. But today changed everything. I originally went in for my brows and ended up meeting Gracie, who I cannot thank enough. After having a nail debridement surgery months ago (cleared by my doctor), I’ve been turned away by almost every nail tech in CT. No one wanted to touch my nails because of the regrowth. I stopped going here years ago because of the length of time it would take for a simple fill and gel polish. Now I won’t be returning at all! Ended up with an infection in my thumb related to the technician cutting my skin. She did not apply any type of sterilization on my skin when it was cut resulting in needing keflex 3x a day for 7 days and a topical antibiotic.
