This shop and gallery is awesome!! A fun and friendly atmosphere with quality specimens, rough pieces, jewelry, and more at great prices. Chris is super chill and welcoming, talking to him felt like I’ve already known him for awhile! He even cuts and polishes some of his own pieces like this beautiful labradorite I scored an awesome deal on! Definitely take the time to stop by if you’re in the area. I plan on coming back very soon!

Refraction is an awesome small business that I highly recommend. Chris, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Whether it's fossils, rough mineral material, gorgeous collector pieces, or some beautiful in-house cut cabochons ready for wire wrapping, he's got you covered. From Quartz, Calcite, Amethyst, Diopside, Moldavite, Azurite, all the way to Mammoth and Megalodon teeth, you're set, all with super affordable prices. Definitely pop in for a visit if you're in or near Macedon!

Such a hidden Gem in Wayne County! I enjoyed the eclectic artistry throughout the store and will for sure be back.

Been meaning to check this place out. Great selection of raw and finished crystals. Talented artwork there as well. Looking forward to going back again.
