I lost my insurance due to a layoff and so was forced to terminated a several years long relationship with my therapy but during the course of being laid off I reached out to my therapist several times to see if I could see her and pay out of pocket since I was struggling and she knew how badly I had been struggling, and I got no response. I then got a new job and insurance and reached out to this same therapist to see if we could schedule and see if she took this insurance and still no response.
