I’ve been terrified of dentists since childhood, but I recently had no choice but to see Dr. Carter because the root of my tooth had broken and the tooth couldn’t be saved. To my surprise, Dr. Carter removed it so quickly and professionally that I didn’t even have time to feel scared - or feel anything at all! Truly an amazing experience. I highly recommend Dr. Carter!
This practice is run by the dentist alone with no front desk or hygienist. I visited for four fillings and found the experience uncomfortable. The suction was not strong enough, which made it difficult to swallow during the procedure, which made me feel panicked and I felt lightheaded afterwards. The dentist provided little communication during or after treatment, and I did not feel checked on or even reassured throughout the visit. I’m not sure why or how this dentist got 5 stars. There is no receptionist or any staff there. The paperwork for patients is sitting on the front desk. No replies to voicemails. I saw the dentist who took many x rays. I tried calling the office to no avail. I need my teeth fixed but can’t reach anyone there and it’s been over a month. I now have to wait six months before my insurance lets me take more x rays to go another dentist. This is scammy and a waste of time.
