Stay away if you’re trying to have a natural, unmedicated and physiological birth. I was unfortunate enough to have Dr. Reeya Patel deliver my baby. OBs like her are what’s wrong with women’s healthcare. I will never give birth in a hospital again. They constantly abuse their power and leave women with birth trauma. Reeya Patel is not very passionate nor caring for her patients. This is my second pregnancy with my first having preclampsia and hellp and dic I would think they would take my concerns and symptoms more seriously, they do not all they say is well keep monitoring when in fact I have only done one urine sample for them which in my case having had preclampsia you would think they would at least make me do a urine sample at every appointment to check for protein in the urine. Great doctor, she pays attention to detail.
This is by far the worst patient - doctor experience I have had. My wife and I went to see this doctor. We saw her for the first time a few months ago and she did not introduce herself initially. She then proceeded to recommend a highly invasive procedure and made my wife scared for her life. She did not follow up and did not review any test results with us. We switched to another OB immediately after and are so happy we did - her opinion was completely inaccurate looking back at it now and would have led to unnecessary risk... read more
