I was released from Anoka county jail after a 4 month probation violation sentence Homeless and during the middle of a Minnesota winter.🥶. got out on a Friday expected to meet my po 2 days later on a Monday..... The good: the place was very clean. 10/10 would poop in that restroom again. That gets this place to 2 stars, which is just one above the minimum that Google will allow me to rate. That's it for the good. Onto the bad. In terms of therapy, there is no therapy. Apparently their peer support specialist quit a while back and they haven't hired a new one, which is why there isn't any mental Healthcare happening. All the staff supported me at my lowest. I traveled home from the desert in Arizona with reentry being my first stop to get the help I needed. They met me where I was at, allowed me to reset, set up mental health and get into a treatment program for my substance use. I'm 115 days sober and living jn a sober house now thanks to this program. Thank you very much ALL STAFF AT REENTRY
I liked my stay here. The staff were all supportive and I never felt unwelcome or out of place. There were others struggling in tandem, and despite this there was a sense of unity among those who were seeking to recover from life's hardest pressing issues. Also, it was nice that the staff were diverse and welcoming to all ethnic backgrounds. The Norway house nearby here is a great visit for scandinavian culture, as well as cafe spaces that are hosted by local indigenous ojibwe and lakota. Racial favoritism was not present. T... read more
