The worst kind of people. The entire practice starting from front desk and up to their office manager and of course this doctor. I was sent from the ER to immediately see a general doctor to repeat my blood tests. In addition I was very sick with high fever for many days. I had an appt at 2:35Pm. I drove today to go and see her and there was a lot of traffic due to the snow storm. Sick as a dog I stayed two hours in traffic to come and see her. I arrived there at 2:50. I had my first visit with Dr. Reena Patel following the departure of my longtime primary care physician, Dr. Socrates Kangiades, from the NYU practice. Unfortunately, the experience was a significant departure from the level of care I had previously received. I saw Dr. Reena Patel recently as a follow up to test results I received from my other doctor who quit. I was looking forward to having Dr. Reena Patel as my new primary care physician, but was deeply disappointed in how I was treated. She walked into the room and didn't introduce herself or barely said hello. I was at this appointment to follow up on my test results and somehow the appointment was turned into me having anxiety (which I do, but completely irrelevant for this appointment) and that I am wasting my time coming ... read more
