I’ve eaten and drank here many times. It’s probably one of my favorite places in downtown. The reason for the 1 star review is the fact that the owner came out and yelled at a group of us playing Pokémon go outside if the restataunt. Apparently people were leaning on the glass. Please feel free to look for my name in your cc batches to see how much I have spent, tipped and visited. The owner could have politely asked us to try not to lean on the glass. RecommendedWe ate there last night. I had the shrimp and grits. It was very good!
I think the good is quite good. However, the noise level is so high that we couldn’t wait to get out of there. We were seated in the back which started out fine until we were surrounded by two tables of heavy drinkers and loud laughers.
Excellent service and wonderful food!
Stellar food, stellar service, stellar setting. The only thing I would tweak is that the main dining room is too sound reflective and noisy, causing everyone to shout to carry on a conversation. Put some soft diffusers/absorbers in and around the ceiling, perhaps on some walls too, and Reel will be even more perfect!
Fantastic dinner! Bonnie hadn’t been able to have crab cakes in years due to GF. Theirs were all crab! Very comfortable place located in a great spot. We’ll be back again!
Negative 5 in my book horrible server owner doesnt care about it neither.
My family and I celebrated my birthday at brunch. Daniel, our server, was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond. Food was amazing, as always. Overall great experience!
