I did an overnight stay and then worked as a volunteer and it was a great experience! During my overnight stay I did my advanced certification with David who was amazing and took great care of me - made sure i was comfortable and understood everything and even took some videos for me to see how I was swimming (and to have some memories:)) I was the only student that day doing the advanced course so the pace was truly tailored to me. We booked a three-day (two-night) liveaboard tour with Reed Encounter and it was absolutely amazing! Neither my girlfriend nor I had any prior diving experience, so we chose the introductory package with 7 dives — and we were blown away! Our instructor, David (Lin), made every dive unforgettable. We booked onto Reef Encounter for a 1 night stay and took part in 4 dives. My partner had his PADI already but I was completely new to diving so I booked onto the introductory course. I couldn’t recommend this enough, I was nervous at the thought of doing my first dive but the experience could not have been better from the moment we set foot on the boat.
