An unfortunately abominable experience. We had booked a 2-day reef reef cruise with Reef Encounter 6 months ago. Cancelled about a month ago due to too high a ship maintenance cost. We followed the proposal to transform our cruise into a day outing with a so-called refund of the difference. This outing was also canceled the day before due to a lack of participants... The crew was interactive and friendly, the cruise had many good facilities, and the food and drinks were awesome.
Buyer beware, you may not get your money back if they cancel. My live onboard trip for April was cancelled on 11th Mar. I still have not received a refund and the company contact keeps deflecting. I'll be filing a complaint with office of fair trading in QLD. Suggest you do the same if you are affected.
Mi pareja Neil y yo fuimos a bucear con ellos en diciembre del año pasado por la Gran Barrera de Coral, y fue una experiencia increíble. Todo el equipo atento y amable en todo momento, especialmente nuestra tutora Angelia Florez, siempre tan encantadora, cuidadosa y paciente, pendiente de todos siempre con una sonrisa.
