Recommendedquaint old style motor lodge. lots of local history and Indian art in the lobby. I think it's a must stay.
A lovely place to stay. Spacious, well maintained and extremely clean rooms. Nice soft beds. The owners are delightful folks. Will be back to stay here again. 10 out of 5 Stars!
We arrived on 21st May as a group of 24 with The Wounded Warrior challenge from the UK. We were warmly welcomed by Shortie and quickly issued our room keys (very welcome after 20 miles on a Harley Davidson) In our rooms we all found a personal card from a child at the local school thanking us for our Service (mine was from Abby) and a welcome letter from Springerville Police Department, American Legion Post 30 and the billboards shouting out our visit. Very clean and great hospitality!
On our way home from Vegas to Texas, we encountered an unexpected snow storm. Being inexperienced at driving in those conditions, we decided to look for a place to stay at the next town we reached, which ended up being Springerville. We arrived around 10pm and my wife was greeted warmly by Roxanne. Long story short, our stay was delightful. We stayed in room 254, a newer styled room. Cute charming little lodge. Nothing fancy but everyone we dealt with was warm, kind, and friendly. The rooms are comfy and clean and I loved the art work in our room.
Love Shorty!! She was able to accommodate us even with the UK crew coming in for their Bike Tour for the Wounded. Shorty even provided me with a blow dryer upon my request. I slept great and it was awesome to talk to the UK folks too.. definitely recommend!!
