We had been thinking of having our original 1963 windows replaced when a representative came to our door and we let him come in. He did have a strong sales pitch, we ended up signing the contract. Even though the price was way higher than we thought, we do not regret for a minute having had Reece replace our windows. We intend to stay in our house and have been here 28 years. Just a note to say, we had Reece Windows installed the first time in April ’08 and then finished up with the final 6 in October ’08. We had been pleased from the beginning with regard to the quality of workmanship demonstrated by Reece. As you know, the snow then left many without power. We had no idea when we would get our power back, but planned to “walt it out” or go to our daughter’s home. It turned out we did have our power restored with 12 hours. I have owned this house since it was new in December 1977. The windows were the original windows installed in most of the houses in the neighborhood. We had been talking about replacing these windows so that we could save on our electric bill. We looked at all of the Home supply stores. Everyone was courteous and very easy to talk to. They answered all my questions. Marty and Jason were excellent! However the stars of the show were Larry and Pat, the installers. They were efficient, polite and helpful – and so cleat that I hardly knew they’d been here except for the new windows! They were also most patient when showing me how to attach the hurricane shutters (panels) on the outside, and even made sure my front window was covered for privacy when they were finished. The windows are tight, slide up or down. Look well! They make your room and outside look new. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Buy them, you won’t be sorry.
