Poor and frustrating living conditions We have lived here over 2 years, and our experience began great and has progressively gotten worse. Parking is difficult, our car has been broken into three times now, there was a fight between unhoused individuals and a resident in the middle of the night, there are mice and rats constantly on balconies and patios, noise insulation is poor, there are constant fire alarms going off, nonresidents park in the complex and use our already overfilled dumpsters - the list goes on. When we ren... read more

12.5%-30% RENT INCREASE - NO CAP FOR NEW BUILDS I just received a notice to increase rent at the time of my lease renewal. The 13-month rental rate increase is a 12.5% increase. The month-to-month increase is 30%. There is no rental cap on apartments built in the last 15 years. The "bill back" for a single resident is approximately $155/monthly. This does not cover PG&E, for a single person is about $75 monthly in a 650sqft apartment. The property is well maintained, and the maintenance staff are quick to respond to concerns... read more

Cheap ceilings Like another review said, there is essentially no noise isolation between floors. You can hear every footstep, the sound of office chairs rolling, and hammering throughout nearly every hour of the day. It’s pretty unlikely that multiple people have just had bad upstairs neighbors— the floors and ceilings are thin enough that any sound will leak. The ceilings also feature creaky material that will groan with movement. I ignored the other review, but I shouldn’t have. They were right, it is a nightmare here, and... read more

Poor noise insulation between floors Don’t consider to lease the 1st or 2nd floor units here because you may end up just like us to suffer from all kinds of noises all day long from upstairs. Not sure if it’s due to the personal problems of the upstairs neighbor, or just the very poor insulation between floors, the annoying everyday noises just drive us crazy and would like to move out of here as soon as possible!
