mood, lunch, activities, special events, services that help seniors and there are many, buses, the whole shebang is friendly, vital and helpful to the community

I love the Redwood Coast Senior Center. My favorite thing to do there is visit the lovely vegetable garden. I have enjoyed occasionally volunteering in the garden and a nice thing is that volunteers get a free lunch. In the dining room we sit around big tables and visit. There is a also a thrift store and a lot of activities and classes. I find everyone very friendly and helpful. We are very lucky to have a vibrant and accessible senior center here in Fort Bragg. I enjoy supporting our seniors by shopping at Granny's Attic, and, dining weekdays via their senior lunch menu (just $8 for non-seniors). They grow their organic produce on site for their salad bar as well.
