Was staying in Charleston for the weekend someone recommended Reds on Facebook and decided to try it had the Shrimp & Grits !! Excellent
We had steamed cluster oysters but so muddy it wasn’t pleasant to open/eat them.
Under renovation right now and their menu is very limited because of it. Love Red’s and I’m looking forward to going back just as soon as they’ve completed the upgrades and the full menu is back! 👍🌊😎
Oh Reds! Staaaap putting poppy seeds in your blue cheese. It’s gross. And how about putting your lobster roll on a roll and not a slice of white bread? I’m really disappointed in you guys today.
finally able to co-ordinate the time to travel the almost 95 miles to enjoy some seafood on Shem Creek. Always wanted to eat at Red's Ice House so that is where we went. We accessed the menu online and had pretty much decided on the entree couldnt make it a combination. upon being seated we were given a "renovation menu" with very few choices and less options for sides. Since they were renovating and on limited menu without fries or hush puppies they should of given more sides instead of shot glass sized or lowered the price.
Great atmosphere if you sit out on the deck by the water--especially at sunset. Heat lamps kept us comfortable while temps were in the 50s. Had crab legs, coconut shrimp, and hot crab dip. All were good. A bucket of voodoo juice was a good price, but not very potent. Our server Susie was great.
What a cool place! Great atmosphere! We sat out at the bar and all the bartenders and service was top notch! Great view of the creek and boats boing by! Wish we lived closer would be a regular hang out for us!
Great atmosphere with awesome four legged friends. Food was on point!!
