It’s in a dry county! No where on their Facebook page or at their business do they tell you your in a dry county, we were stopped at the first swimming spot by state police. Everyone with alcohol in their cooler got a ticket. We won’t be back again.
RecommendedWe have been to Redneck over and over. We love this place and the creek. What a cold, clear creek with some exciting small rapids to keep things interesting. The fee for bringing you own kayaks is only $5.00 each! Do not bring alcohol though. My wife was treated like a criminal with a mug shot taken and our beer taken. Apparently, this creek is in Cherokee County which is a dry county....HOW WERE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT? The state was at the first swimming hole today checking coolers.
