I was referred here for big toe pain and limited range of motion, and I had a very negative experience. Dr. Richardson diagnosed me with hallux rigidus without taking any X-rays or imaging, and told me that there weren't any good options for fixing it. I was told that it was chronic, degenerative, and I should limit my use of that toe forever. I'm 27 and active and it was incredibly depressing.
