Have been here many times. You put up with the overpriced food for the atmosphere. That might be changing. They have a new menu, and when I say “new”, I just mean that all the prices went up. Tonight, I paid $9 for 6 onion rings. 6. Small ones. That’s just the most egregious example. I’m fine with paying high prices for location and atmosphere but this place is taking it to the next level.
My friends and I stopped in for Lunch today and it was fantastic! $10 burgers and fries. We all got a different burger and they were delicious and huge! Fries were yummy! (Drinks were a little pricey - $9 for a canned seltzer). But overall fantastic, great service and beautiful view!
I never mind dining alone, even (especially) on a rainy Valentine's Day. I enjoyed a damn good cheeseburger, broccoli slaw, and coffee while I read and journaled in peace with a great view of the lake. Grateful for such great company in solitude. :)

The food was actually great, even the fries and I rarely like fries. The staff was very unprofessional and lackadaisical. It was like waking into a college dorm, watching children walk around in their pajamas oblivious to what was going on around them. Only one waitress acted like she wanted to be there and knew what she was doing. That was not our waitress. We were seated in the area with the view.
