Unbeatable location, views & size of units / balconies for the price you pay. Older building but the value is great. They had some AC issues in the past however they got a new cooling tower to remedy that. We live here for 2 years.
I rented a one bedroom from here for two years and had issues with management, my unit, and building amenities. While the lobby staff is incredible (especially Mike and Glenda) and the units are spacious for the price, this is an old poorly managed complex that I would not recommend living in. When I first moved in, my coax outlet was painted over (leaving me without internet for a week) and my bathroom was covered in mold. Do not rent out 3909 the AC has been out for two years now. It is currently 90 degrees and my apartment is 100 degrees this man does not care for anyone’s other than himself. Ps. I have a baby. Please do not move into their building they do not care about their tenants.
There is no place like Ontario Place in River North. Unobstructed views w/ floor to ceiling windows, 150 sqft balconies, and a vibrant pool that makes summer here a lot of fun. The door staff are the friendliest folks and the new management is topnotch. I lived in the building for 10 yrs and owned multiple units, you cant beat the value anywhere in the neighborhood. I have lived here for three summers, and every summer the AC does not work until July. These units don’t have windows that you can put an AC unit in, so there is no way to get air. It is consistently over 80 degrees in my unit. Every single year there is an issue with the AC and they drag their feet fixing it. It is absolutely miserable in the summer and there is poor communication from management. Also, it is $2.75 just to wash one load and another $2.75 to dry a load.
