I had a very disappointing experience with Redding Urologic Associates. During my treatment with Dr. Stockpile, I felt that my pain was not managed adequately, despite my expressing significant discomfort throughout the procedure. What troubled me most was that I felt the procedure was handled much more roughly than I expected. My husband was diagnosed with kidney stones, so we had to see a Urologist, who happened to be Dr. Perkins. She was very nice and answered our questions appropriately. The only problem I had was the little procedure my husband had to have. She was removing a stone and for men, this is painful, but it was excruciating for him. There was some lidocaine used, but this was put on about 3 secs before the "tube" went in. My husband is a tough guy but I have never seen him in that much pain, even with the kidney stones themselves. I... read more
