Thank you all and especially firefighter Josh(?) (sorry if I got your name wrong that was a blur)� for helping me and my husband. We were feeling awful and tried driving ourselves into town to seek medical attention and just couldn’t physically do it we just so happened to drive by the fire station. They didn’t hesitate to assist us and calmed us down. Apparently we had an awful case of altitude sickness. Obviously this was very embarrassing but I guess it can happen to anyone. Thank you fire, police, and ambulance for your parts in saving my wife's life Saturday afternoon. You brought Mari back from flatline, stabilized her, and delivered her to the ER. She has recovered 100% heart function and has no brain damage. You accomplished this with great compassion. Our family thanks you and God.
My husband and I want to thank the Red, White and Blue members who came to my rescue on Friday, July 7. I slid on rocks descending the trail at Mohawk Lakes and as a result fractured three bones in my right ankle. The three gentlemen on the trail and the ambulance crew were beyond professional; they were top notch. Carrying me down that steep, rocky trail was not easy, but they took charge and led a group of volunteers carrying me down.
