Overall red top was a good experience for me and I got a lot of the help I’ve been needing for so long. The groups are very engaging and you can tell the therapists really want the clients to get the most out of them and it was nice to have a safe space to process and I made lots of lifelong friends from being here and this place really helped me come out of my shell However I’m giving 3 stars cause I ran into 2 major problems during my stay. 1) I did not see a psychiatrist until 3 weeks in. I'm leaving 4.5 stars because my experience here was genuinely life-changing, even if there were a few minor drawbacks. The Good: After five years of bouncing between therapists and psychiatrists with no clear answers, Red Top was able to pinpoint my diagnosis with accuracy and precision in just a matter of weeks. I was in a genuinely hopeless spot when I was first told about red top. The fact that they turned me from someone who was inevitably going back to use drugs to someone who wants to be sober and healthy minded shocked me. I was welcomed in and encouraged every day. The therapists are always working together to make sure every treatment plan is what it should be for everyone on an individual basis. What was represented to families and what actually occurred inside were two very different things.
