I had the absolute worst experience that I have ever had at a restaurant when my wife, her parents and I dined at Jake's Grill in Portland. I write this review so that others do not experience the same horrific experience. I was served rancid food that caused a VERY severe case of food poisoning, and was lied to and then completely ignored by senior management of the owners of Jakes Grill (Landry's, Inc.). Wouldn’t seat us ( girlfriend and child) for 20 minutes after walking us past the table they seated us at before telling us we had to wait , margaritas tasted like water , sushi was terrible and our waiter was non existent , negative attitudes . The smoked tuna was so thick and chewy and just badly done , calamari was not fresh . Only person that showed a good attitude was the guy cleaning the tables , he was very attentive and brought us water and soy sauce when we got low .
Our chef was excellent.
Love RED! We have been multiple times for hibachi and regular dining and always an amazing experience! Great place for dates, happy hour or big party events!
the only thing that came with me and my kids love to come here especially when Able is at the Hibachi to Services wonderful
