This hotel is wonderful!! Omi at the front desk will bend over backward to accommodate you. If you’re concerned about safety, don’t be. They have cameras everywhere that are being watched and someone who walks on foot doing night patrol. The hotel is one street behind the beach, less than a 5 minute walk. But if you get a higher level room you’ll have an ocean view. Root has all the amenities you need - fridge, microwave, hair dryer, toiletries, iron, etc. Also they do very inexpensive cruise parking. This hotel was dirty, broken blinds and rude management. We accidentally left our charger in the room before the cruise. I called when we returned a week later to see if I could retrieve it. The front desk guy was very rude and quickly told me nothing was turned in, the rooms were full so he couldn’t check and he couldn’t get to my room number. Not the Ritz but serviceable enough for the price. Room was clean and AC worked well.

had a very nice stay, two nights. everything was clean and neat. The pool was very clean as well. The AC was cold and quiet which was very good. will return for next VC.
